Founded in 2004, Triuggio Marching Band (www.triuggiomb.it) is an Italian group of young people sharing a strong passion for music and the will to entertain its audience both through music and movements.

In fact, not only are the components players, but they are also "dancers", helped by the colourful colour guards with their spinning flags.

TMB’s repertoire goes from classical, opera pieces, such as "William Tell" by Rossini or "Nabucco" by Verdi, to contemporary international pop and rock songs, like for example "Smoke on the water" by Deep Purple, "Pretty Fly" by the Offspring and "Call me" by Blondie.

In spite of its young age, TMB has taken part in many national events and competitions, such as the Italian Marching Band Championship, and has also travelled a lot through Europe, performing in France, Germany, Denmark and Czech Republic.

Graduates at ‘G. Verdi’ conservatory in Como in 1996, Before graduate, he was part of different ‘traditional’ bands as a player (Clarinet), then, after his degree, as teacher of the internal music school, specialized in wood winds. In 2004 he was the main sponsor and one of the founder of Triuggio Marching Band and since then is the Drum Major and Band Director of TMB.

 Actually he collaborates with the Italian Marching Show Bands (IMSB) association on a project called ‘Marching Band Junior’ as a teacher. The project is aimed to develop the Marching Band movement in Italy by creating and teaching basic music at elementary schools.
