Wild Green Sing Along Circus

We are pleased to have support from Art Blanche - a group of adults with learning disabilities who attend day centres in the Borough. All of the art produced by the Art Blanche artists is made from almost 80% recycled rubbish and off cuts, and through their art they aim to speak to the community, and raise awareness of what adults with learning disabilities can achieve and contribute. Our entry “The Wild Green Sing-Along Circus” is in aid of the Mayor’s Charity the Haven House Children’s Hospice caring for children and young people between the ages of 0 and 19 who have life-limiting conditions and who are unlikely to reach adulthood. The float entered today is also supported by the Elite Dance Academy a team of 20 young children from a local dance group, the Mayor’s Charity Support Committee and the Ford Motor Company for the loan of the lorry.
