Before we introduce you to our impressive list of Patrons and Supporters and give you the opportunity to read their individual messages of goodwill, I should like to offer my own very considerable thanks to all of our hard working Patrons and Supporters.

Many of our leading Patrons have contributed enormously over the years to the development of the London's New Year's Day Parade and Festival, and have helped to make it the enormously popular and successful event that it is today.  Thank you to all of them.

Last year was a phenomenal one for our city and one that we will never forget. Some may wonder how we can possibly top it. But fear not, 2013 will be another wonderful year in the most exciting year on earth. I can think of no better way to kick things off than with the New Year's Day Parade and Festival. Bringing together people from across the world it is a lively and colourful start to the year, with thousands of young people involved making it a truly inspiring event. For everyone joining the parade, as spectators or as participants, have a wonderful day.

And to one and all, I wish you the very best for 2013. Have a very Happy New Year

During the past year London has shown the world that it is a great City able to host fantastic and memorable events and I am confident that this New Year's Day Parade will continue in that trend.  I send my thanks and best wishes to all participants and spectators.  Enjoy today, and I urge you to give generously to support the many worthy charities nominated by the London Mayors

As in past years, I am very happy to express my support for the New Year’s Day Parade. It is always a splendid way to mark the beginning of the New Year. The Parade is also an excellent opportunity to raise much needed funds in a most enjoyable manner for various London based charities. My congratulations and thanks to all who have worked so hard to organise the Parade and ensure that it is superb event to be remembered with many smiles throughout the remainder of the year. May 2013 be a year of countless blessings and great joy for everyone taking part in London’s New Year’s Day Parade

Despite all the doom laden forecasts, London rang up a raft of superlatives in 2012.
The challenge now is to keep the momentum going.
London's New Year’s Day Parade, we are told, is the biggest event of its kind in the world:  our job is to ensure it is also the best.
The auguries are positive, in contrast to the predictions about the olympic games and in spite of the innate scepticism of the natives.
Our sovereign lady generously gives us another anniversary to celebrate, the sixtieth year since her coronation.
So, let's go for it.  Enjoy the fabulous music and spectacle and let this great event catapult us into another year of joy and success
