2012 Festival and Parade

It's amazing to think that the New Year's Day Parade took place along the streets of London for the first time not too long after the Queens Silver Jubilee. It was then well establised by the Gold Jubilee, and this year, 2012 the Parade marks the Queens Diamond Jubilee.

2012 will also wecome the Olympics to London, probably the biggest sporting year in the Capital since 1948! The New Year's Day Parade is proud to be the first official event of the Cultural Olympiad.

To celebrate both the Olympics and The Queens Diamond Jubilee the Parade has a magnificent extravaganza in store for 2012.
